Join the Student Linx online Footy Tipping Competition! Whether you’re a mad supporter of AFL or NRL, or have absolutely no comprehension of either game, this is a great way to learn more about the game and keep up to date with everything happening in both codes.

To join this competition simply follow the instructions here. You can join at any time, but the earlier you join, the greater your chance of winning!

Griffith student, Nicole Wang is one of 41 international students from Griffith University who have participated in the Multicultural Coaching and Umpiring program run by AFL Queensland and authorised by the Queensland State Government.

Recently, she became one of 12 students to become employed by AFL Queensland and Nicole has been umpiring the under 18s games on the weekend for the last five months.

Ms Wang said the program gave her a unique Australian experience because she now has “more topics” to talk about with her “Aussie friends.”
